Here are some of the configuration bytes in the 2002 v6 operating systems. Applies to at least OS' 12223461,12223462, and 12223463, probably a quite few more as well.

6EE50=? doesn't appear to be accessed by any code, but is set to 0

6EE51=Vehicle Type

3=Camaro/Firebird
5=Montana
7=GP
9=Malibu
B=Regal
D=Rendezvous
F=GA/Alero
15=Impala
19=Monte Carlo
1B=Bonne/LeSabre/Riviera
3B=Silhouette/Venture
43=Intrigue

6EE52=Ignore Checksum
If this is set to 1, the pcm will not check its checksum.

6EE53=Disable Read/Write Security
If this is set to FF, the pcm will have a seed of 0, and a key of 0, for reading and writing the flash.

6EE54=Module is Programmed*
Must be set to 1 for the pcm to run the OS code, P0602 will be set if this is set to 0.

6EE55=? Quite possibly an Electronic Throttle Control Option, its not accessed in this OS code though. The equivalent location in 2001 Camaro OS is set to 1, and is accessed by code, it is set to 0 (and no code pointing to it) in all non-ETC OS's that I've seen.

6EE56=Engine Type
0=2.5L-
1=3.0L-Not sure what engines these two are, but there are references in the code to a 2.5L and 3.0L, they are likely V6 engines.

2=3.1L
3=3.4L
4=3.5L dohc
5=L36
6=L67

6EE57=Crank Sensor Resolution
For the high resolution sensor only.
0=18x
1=24x

6EE58=Supercharged
MUST be set to 1 if the vehicle is supercharged or is running a 2 bar map sensor.

6EE59=Number of Cylinders*
Leave this alone, should always be 6, I've only seen this set to 6.

6EE5A=?

6F75E=Vehicle is Equipped with an AIR pump

77E5F=Another Option for supercharged cars, appears to set scales in several tables.

78112=O2 Sensor/Fuel Trim Bank configuration*
0=1 Front O2 Sensor, LTFT&STFT Bank 2 are disabled
1=2 Front O2 Sensors, LTFT&STFT Bank 2 are enabled
There are possibly more bytes that configure these options, this is the only one I've found so far.

7D50C=Transmission Type
0=Manual
2=4T65e
4=4T45e

*Not 100% sure on these.

That would explain why you can't get a 2 bar MAP sensor to work with a GT PCM.
